Integration with Google calendar

In the system you can synchronize with Google Calendar. This allows to display events from your personal calendar in HURMA in it. For example, employee birthdays, company published events, your approved absences, and tasks assigned to you or where you are listed as responsible.

Connecting to Google Calendar

To connect Google Calendar, open the additional menu in the top right corner and select "Account settings"

Then click on the "Connect" button, choose the desired account (or sign in to the account), and grant access to the calendar.

After that, future events will appear in Google Calendar:

  • Company birthdays - added 2 months before the employee's birthday.

  • Events - published company events (events available in the "Control Panel" section).

  • My Events - personal tasks and actions assigned to you or where you are listed as responsible.

  • My Absences - your approved absence requests.

Event display settings

In the HURMA system, you can configure which events are displayed in Google Calendar. To do this, go to the calendar settings (top right menu - "Google Calendar") and disable the items whose events should not be added to the calendar.

Switching Google account

To change the email address associated with the calendar, go to the Google Calendar settings in the HURMA system, click on the "Change account" button, and select a another Google account.

Disabling synchronization

If you want to disable synchronization, go to the Google Calendar settings in the HURMA system and click the "Disable" button.

After that, new events will not be added to Google Calendar, and any future events that were previously added will be removed.
