Properly set up roles and access rights are the key to security, clear processes, and smooth teamwork. In our system, roles are designed so that every user has exactly the tools they need to get their tasks done, without anything extra or missing.
Each role is a set of permissions and abilities that define which areas of the system a user sees, what actions they can take, and how much info they can view or edit. Thanks to this, you get smooth teamwork, plus data control and safety.
Next, we'll take a closer look at all the roles that are in the system by default, their features, and capabilities.
The most complete role in the system.
Has access to all sections, settings, and features, including:
receiving all default absence requests;
system settings management;
employee list export;
OKR editing;
activation of the Payroll section.
This is the most powerful role, usually assigned to managers or key HR specialists.
A role similar to admin, but with some restrictions:
can't export the employee list;
doesn't have access to change OKRs or activate Payroll.
Additionally, an HR can be assigned in the "Structure":
team HR responsible — only gets time-off requests from assigned teams;
company HR responsible — gets all requests, just like the admin.
This is the basic role for every user. Gives access to these sections:
Org chart
Employees
Dashboard
Calendar
OKR
Time tracking (if enabled)
Payroll (if granted access).
An extended "Employee" role that adds:
right to approve absences in the teams the manager is assigned to;
ability to schedule 1:1 meetings.
Another advanced "Employee" role, but with broader permissions:
approving absences for the entire company (by default);
ability to schedule 1:1 meetings.
A role meant for working with job openings and candidates. Lets you:
create and edit job openings;
work with candidates.
At the same time, there's no access to employee profiles or settings.
The system lets you create your own roles based on existing ones.
This helps you flexibly adjust access rights to fit your company's needs.
If you need help, we're ready to assist with the setup.
