Section "Departments" for managing job openings visibility

Recruiters have their areas of responsibility, especially if they work in a company with departments in different regions and with different specificities. For example, different recruiters may be responsible for hiring people for the contact centers in Kyiv and Lviv, and their work should not overlap. This raises the question of how to differentiate the visibility of job postings for recruiters from different departments, so that professionals do not see unnecessary tasks and information.

To address these issues, we have added "Departments". Here's how they work:

  • Grouping and differentiation: Departments allow creating groups of recruiters who only have access to job openings and candidates within their department.

  • Quick access setup: Adding a job posting to a department immediately makes it available to recruiters with the corresponding access to that department. It's also easy to add new recruiters to a department, allowing them to quickly access job postings and candidates within their team.

  • Hiding job openings: The department feature helps with hidden searches when there's a need to find a replacement for a current employee or when a company doesn't want to publicly announce the search for a specific position. With departments, you can hide job postings so that only administrators, responsible recruiters, and team leads can see them.

  • Flexible management: Company administrators are familiar with the business processes and have full control over all departments. They can assign responsible employees department who specialize in specific areas. Administrators and responsible employees also have the ability to grant recruiters access to job openings associated with a particular department.

Enhancement of the timeline section

With the latest HURMA update, finding information about colleagues' absences takes only a few seconds. Here's what made it possible in our service:

  • Team filtering: View leaves of participants from one or multiple teams.

  • Compact layout: More employees are displayed on the screen in a compact format.

  • Simplified navigation by months.

  • Now absences visually do not overlap holidays and weekends, allowing for better clarity.

Improved vacation and requests module

Every employee has made a vacation request at least once. In the HURMA system, this process takes no more than a minute for an employee. However, HR managers who handle vacations have to spend much more time on this task.

With the updated module, you will be able to perform tasks much faster. Here are a few changes:

  • The "Requests" tab can now be filtered by teams.

  • The archive can also be filtered by teams and statuses such as "Approved" and "Rejected".

  • The "Reports" tab can now also be filtered by teams and years. Additionally, the functionality of this tab has been completely updated and made more user-friendly.

Updated employee tasks

We have redesigned the "Tasks" tab in the employee profile to make it easier for you to monitor their completion.

Here are some important changes:

  • Displaying the number of tasks currently in progress.

  • Filtering tasks by types: requests, HR, and recruiting.

  • Sorting tasks by creation date and completion date. This sorting is maintained when switching to other employee profiles.

Changes in API for maximum efficiency

We are introducing a powerful update to our API that will bring you incredible efficiency and full control over employee management. These API changes will provide you with new possibilities and convenience in working with our system:

  • Email filters - Now you can easily search and filter employees by their email addresses. This allows you to quickly and accurately find the employees you need for interaction and communication.

  • Start date or termination date filters - Forget about wasting time sifting through all employees!

  • Endpoint for creating absence requests - Now you can create absence requests with checks for overlapping vacations and statuses. This enables you to efficiently plan vacations and manage employee availability.

  • Ability to view the number of vacation days via the API - Planning and tracking your team's vacations will no longer take up much time since you can instantly obtain information about the number of vacation days for employees in a matter of seconds.
