2023 | Update in August

Microsoft integration. Candidate рrofile. Assets. Candidates list. Other.

HURMA continues to grow and improve, offering several impressive innovations that will improve your productivity and help you save more time. The new changes in HURMA allow for more efficient candidate searching and better catering to your team's needs, making the process even more convenient.

Integration with Microsoft Outlook Calendar

In our time, Microsoft Outlook is one of the most popular corporate organizer services, providing calendar functions, task planning, note-taking, and contact management.

We would like to remind you that HURMA has long had integration with Outlook email functions. If you haven't configured it yet, please inform our Customer Success team. This month, we have added the long-awaited full integration with the calendar functionality.

After integrating the service with a Microsoft account, all events created in HURMA are added to the employee's personal calendar.

HURMA can sync the following types of events to the calendar:

  • HR events

  • Recruitment events

  • Personal tasks

  • Employee birthdays

  • Company corporate events

  • My events

  • Employee personal leaves, and so on

But that's not all, the system can also transfer event details to the calendar:

  • Event date

  • Event description

  • Participants (if a Microsoft account is connected)

Upon creating an event in HURMA, it will automatically appear in the Outlook calendar and Microsoft Teams. What's very convenient is that employees with Microsoft calendar integration will see the event in their calendars when they are added as participants or responsible persons while creating the event in HURMA.

With this update, you'll be able to use your familiar and preferred service without the need to manually duplicate events added in HURMA. This will help you save time and eliminate unnecessary repetition.

Improved сandidate рrofile

The candidate profile card is one of the most popular features among recruiters using the HURMA system. We never stop improvement the user experience with this element and continually work on its refinement.

In this release, we've also introduced several valuable changes:

  • Added a new "CV" section within the "Profile" tab. Now the candidate's resume is always at your fingertips.

  • Improved the tabs within the profile. Merged the "General" and "Description" tabs into a single "Profile" tab. This avoids duplicating information.

  • Updated the "Contacts", "Tags," and "Portfolio" sections. This has made it simpler and more convenient to navigate within the candidate's profile.

These updates allow recruiters to navigate through the candidate's profile information even more swiftly, which, in turn, helps in closing vacancies more efficiently.

Refinement of the "Assets" section

The "Assets" section has already become a favorite among many HURMA users. With its help, you can track which resources have been assigned to whom, where specific equipment is located, and view its condition upon issuance and receipt. You'll also receive reminders when the equipment's service term is ending, ensuring you don't forget to retrieve it upon an employee's departure. This module assists in managing not only equipment but also subscriptions to services and programs, and our clients have already appreciated how convenient it is.

In the August update, we've introduced several improvements to make using the "Property" section even more convenient:

  • New conditions for tag filtering. We've added AND, OR, or NOT conditions to the "Tags" filter, allowing for more flexible result filtering. Now you can include all selected tags (AND), consider any of the tags (OR), or exclude unwanted ones (NOT). Inventory tab in the employee profile. The individual responsible for managing property no longer needs to navigate to the general section to see what property is assigned to a specific person. During onboarding, you can quickly issue equipment using this tab. When an employee moves or goes through offboarding, you can find information about their inventory in the same tab, without the need to switch to other sections.

  • Changes in the "My Inventory" field. In their profile, employees can view the property assigned to them and will know what exactly they need to return during offboarding or equipment updates.

  • Ability to enter fractional numbers in the "Cost" field. This useful option comes in handy, for example, if the equipment's purchase price was in dollars, but it was paid for with a different currency card, resulting in a non-whole amount.

  • New "Purchase Date" field. This field is necessary for calculating depreciation, wear and tear, refund dates, or in case an employee decides to purchase the property.

  • Expanded property visibility settings in roles. Now you can flexibly customize access to the "Property" block, restrict the visibility of your teams' data for managers and HR, or grant access only to your own data.

Managing information about your assets and equipment on the HURMA platform is now even more convenient with a unified database. Say goodbye to tracking in dozens of Excel spreadsheets!

Update to the сandidates list

In addition to working with individual candidate cards, it's important for recruiters to quickly navigate through the list of candidates for various positions within the company.

Here are several changes introduced in the latest update:

  • Updated filter for the blacklist. Now candidates from the blacklist are visible through the search, significantly reducing the chances of creating duplicates.

  • Added a filter for current employees. Previously, candidates who became employees sometimes ended up in the list. We've added the ability to hide them.

  • Improved navigation on the page. Scrolling within the filter and scrolling within the candidate cards section are now independent from each other.

  • More flexibility in choosing tag filtering for candidates. With the new update, you can choose the condition for filtering tags - AND, OR, or NOT.

Other updates

  • Added a salary range to the candidate profile. Occasionally, candidates may have salary requirements specified as "from" and "to" or simply "from." We've added the ability to include such requirements. Additionally, a "comment" field for salary requirements has been introduced.

  • Updated the selection stages for job vacancies. Now it's possible to view all candidates who declined for a specific reason or the number of candidates at the test task stage, without selecting specific vacancies.

  • Changed the sorting of hot vacancies. Now, at the top, only those hot vacancies are visible which have the status "In Progress" and "Open."

We continuously strive to make HURMA better, and soon we'll delight you with new revolutionary features, enhancements to existing processes, and the opportunity to further automate routine tasks!
