Updated candidates page

One of the January updates will particularly please recruiters, as the "Candidates" page has become even more functional and convenient.

1. Tabular view for convenient candidate management

In the updated version of HURMA, the Candidates page has acquired a tabular view, allowing for the comparison of candidates based on various parameters. With this interface, you can not only quickly find the necessary information but also easily analyze and make decisions.

2. Work conveniently from any device

Whether you're working from a desktop computer, tablet, or smartphone, the Candidates page automatically adapts to provide optimal comfort and convenience of use. You can search, set filters, analyze data, and utilize all the familiar functionality, regardless of your location or the device you're using.

3. Save filters for optimal speed

Now you can set necessary filters for candidate search based on different criteria, and these settings will be automatically remembered for your account, even if you're working on different devices.

4. Export and data exchange for team work convenience

The new export feature allows you to easily export a group of candidates with similar parameters in XLSX format. Simply select the required filters, click on the three dots in the top right corner, and choose "Save XLSX."

Improved actions workflow

The "Actions" feature allows users to schedule meetings, interviews, and other tasks, making it highly sought after among both recruiters and HR professionals. Let's delve into how the January update will impact workflow.

Accelerated hiring process with updated candidate invitations

Speed of hiring remains a critical metric for recruiters. According to Zippia research, top candidates stay on the job market for an average of just ten days. The HURMA update aims to save valuable minutes and streamline the process of adding candidates for interviews.

Previously, to invite a candidate for an interview, recruiters had to copy the candidate's email, navigate to their calendar, search for the meeting, and manually add the email.

Now, inviting candidates for interviews will take mere seconds, as all of this can be done directly within HURMA. Simply select "Invite candidate" in the "Recruitment action" window, and the event will be added to their calendar.

If you forgot to enter the email into the candidate's profile and want to invite them for a meeting, you can add the email directly within the action, and it will be saved in the profile.

You won't have to manually send meeting details to the candidate, as the invitation will be automatically sent to their calendar with all the necessary details. Additionally, the information will be duplicated and sent to their email.

Adding employees to meetings is now easier

Every HR process involves a chain of various actions. Even a relatively common onboarding process may require the involvement of several specialists and the completion of various tasks.

While most tasks remain between the manager and HR, there are tasks or meetings that require the employee's involvement. With the update, you can delineate such actions by choosing whether to invite the employee or not.

You can do this in just a few clicks. Go to the employee's profile and start creating the action. To invite the employee, simply click on the corresponding checkbox.

After the employee is invited, they will receive a notification and will also see it as an event in the HURMA calendar and in their Google or Microsoft calendar.

After the meeting, you can enter details and results in the comments, which the employee will not see.

Other improvements in "Actions":

  • the ability to add a hidden event description - an internal field with details for the author and responsible parties that will not be visible to the invited candidate/employee. Meanwhile, in the "General description" field, you can input information that will be displayed in the calendar of all participants.

  • in the "HR Action" and "Recruiting Action" sections, there is now the option to set a custom title in the calendar. This only affects how the event is displayed in Google or Outlook calendars for participants. The "Event name" field will be used solely for naming the action within the system.

  • not every action requires a meeting, so for better understanding among all participants, you can remove the video conference link if it's not necessary.

Editing approved absences

Have you ever had a situation where an employee wanted to modify an already approved leave? For example, to adjust its duration or start date. This could have caused certain difficulties because making changes to the system required receiving a request from the employee.

Now you can edit an approved or scheduled absence yourself, which significantly speeds up the process. When editing, the employee's day balance is automatically recalculated based on the new period.

Payroll has become even more convenient

Payroll is a tool for calculating employees' working hours and salaries. This feature has become popular among many of our users due to its convenience and ease of use. However, perfection knows no bounds, so we are constantly looking for areas of improvement!

In this release, we have added more flexibility in setting access permissions to the Payroll block:

  • users with the role of "employee" can now see information about their salary, worked hours and days, compensation amounts in the Payroll block;

  • for accountants, roles can be configured so that they can view, input, and edit information only for their teams;

  • team managers can also be given access to financial information only for their teams.
